Aesthetic Gynaecology is an emerging speciality that pertains to the enhancement and beautification of the female intimate area. It addresses both function and appearance of this area. Various factors including age, weight loss, childbirth and lack of estrogen (menopause and perimenopause) affect the appearance of the outside of the vagina and sexual function.

 

Laxity of the vagina, incontinence and decreased sensation are some of the hallmarks of menopause. The service is run by two Consultant Gynaecologists who have a breath of experience in gynaecology, gynaecological endocrinology (hormone therapy) and sexual function. Most treatments are performed either on their own or in combination depending on the needs of the patient.
